Now Wave

Now Wave is a weekly clubnight at Manchester’s ultra hip Deaf Institute‘. They insist on a music policy of ‘Nothing older than 2 years’ – A refreshing change from the ten a penny clubnights who seem happy to carry on playing the same set list of boring Indie week in, week out.

‘Now Wave’ are also pretty renowned for the live shows they’ve put on and the past few years has seen them go from strength to strength after hosting shows with the likes of Battles, The XX and Field Music and future shows including Deerhunter, The Antlers and a certain Gil Scott – Heron..

Here’s a mix they recently posted on their Sound Cloud page – The Glo Fi mix is a warm, blissed out, psych affair.
